Established
in 1979, Fisherman's Fleet, Inc. started as a small family run
seafood and fish market in Wayland, Massachusetts. Soon after
its opening, our company became known for extremely high quality,
fresh fish. Within a year, some of the local well-established
restaurants in the area approached the owner to see if he would
be interested in supplying the same quality fish that he had in
his market to their restaurants on a daily basis, and the rest
is history. Today, Fisherman's Fleet prides itself on its humble
beginnings and keeps that same philosophy and tradition of delivering
the best quality money can buy. We have no desire to be the biggest,
just the best. With the strong desire to deliver the best seafood,
our company has grown dramatically. Today we supply some of the
finest restaurants in Boston and the New England area, as well
as Institutions and super market chains throughout the country.
We
attribute our success to many factors, but one of the major reasons
is our stringent policy to Quality Control. If you deliver outstanding
quality day in and day out clients will seek you out. We have
buyers in all major ports in New England as well as California,
Mexico, Florida, Iceland and South America. Over the years through
trial and error we have found the best boats and captains who
take the time and effort to handle the fish in a manner that is
conducive to preserving the quality of the fish no matter what
the species may be. Over the years, these relationships have developed
into a bond of mutual respect that allows us to grow and deliver
only the highest in quality. We also feel service is a major factor
to our continued growth. We strive to provide top notch service

Today
Fisherman's Fleet operates three divisions: our wholesale division
for restaurants and institutions, our mail-order division for
retail consumers throughout the country interested in Maine lobsters
and fresh seafood delivered overnight by U.P.S., and our retail
store for local consumers. All our seafood is processed in our
federally inspected facilities. All products are processed and
delivered to our accounts within a 6 to 24 hour period to maximize
freshness.
